Tones on Tuesday #36 6.12.12

Please link up your photos for this week on last week's linky. 6 showcases will be featured next week. I look forward to your photos and to my last day of school on Wednesday! While I will miss my students, I am very excited about some quality photography time.

MsDewBerry at Dew Drops

What a stunning shot! The drama of the black and white plays up the texture and details of the petals. Thank you for sharing MsDewBerry!

Jeanne at Butterfly Tales
The light and shadows are lovely in this photo! The way the leading lines pull you in an fill you with a curiosity of what is beyond makes for a beautiful place captured. Thank you for linking up Jeanne!

Cindy at This and That
The light is amazing in this photo. I love the way the flower fills the frame and how the light softens the lines. Thank you for sharing Cindy!

  • One photo per photographer please. If you have more than one photo in your post please indicate which one if for Tones on Tuesday.
  • Please link up with your permalink and not your blog address.
  • Attach the Tones on Tuesday button or a link back here to your post.
  • Leave comments for at least 3 other participants, share the love :o)!
  • Have fun!

This weekend I spent some time at the Quincy Wildlife Recreation Area and took some sunset photos I am very excited about. However with 7 days of school left I am going to wait to edit them until I have the time devote quality attention. Something to look forward too! For now, I am going to share a flower photo I took a while ago. I took this at a house that is for sale near mine. The backyard is spectacular and filled with a plethora of flowers. I had never been back there and was shocked by the secret garden feel. I am shocked that no one has bought it for the flowers alone!

Settings: ISO 400, 55mm, ss1/60, f/5.6
